Celebrating the 450^th birthday of Date Masamune as well as the anniversary of Tateyama Castle ruins being recognized as a sight of national historical significance. Yonezawa presents the original musical “Bontenmaru” a musical based on the life of Yonezawa born, legendary samurai warrior Date Masamune.

 Witness stunning performances highlighting the younger years of Masamune and let wondrous songs transport you back in time.
